Meerut, July 2, 2026: Dr. Parveen Malik, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), AgriInnovate India Limited, visited the ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Cattle (ICAR-CIRC) on July 2, 2026. The visit was organized under the guidance of the Director, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohanty.

During the visit, the Information Technology Management Unit (ITMU) of the Institute organized an interactive session-cum-workshop on the theme "Commercializing Bovine Innovations: Strategic IPR Management and Technology Transfer." Dr. Parveen Malik attended the workshop as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker, accompanied by his expert team.

Welcoming the Chief Guest, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohanty, Director of the Institute, delivered a brief presentation highlighting the Institute’s major research achievements, ongoing projects, programmes of national importance, and future strategic plans.

Dr. Malik delivered an insightful address on the role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in protecting research and innovations. He elaborated on various aspects of patent filing, technology evaluation, industry collaboration, technology transfer, and licensing. He emphasized that the effective commercialization of research-based technologies plays a crucial role in benefiting farmers, promoting entrepreneurship, and advancing the livestock sector.

During the programme, scientists, technical officers, and students actively interacted with the experts and raised queries related to intellectual property management, patents, copyrights, trademarks, technology transfer, and industry–institute collaboration. The experts addressed these queries in detail, making the session highly informative and engaging.
