Lac based Water thinnable Interior Paint

Background
Main elements of commonly used paints such as acrylic, urethane, epoxy resin have been reported to cause allergic reactions. Preferences are being given to minimise the synthetic resin content or to find alternatives for these widely used synthetic resins.
Technology Details
Lac based water thinnable interior paint is based on natural resin lac, which is a bio-degradable material. They do not have harmful solvents as most synthetic paints do. They don’t contain VOCS and don’t have offensive smell. It has excellent resistance towards water, acid and alkali. It can be applied by brush to produce hard, smooth and matt finish on POP treated surface, limed surface, asbestos and masonry surfaces. The paint film on interior wall remained unaffected for more than four years of its application on paris treated surfaces. (No flaking, peeling off and discoloration). Lac-based water-thinnable coating material suitable for cementitious surfaces.
