Background
Enteric methane production contributes to greenhouse gas emission and loss of gross energy~12% from animal feed. Some phytogenics are known to decrease enteric methane. However, the results are variable and only specific combinations of phytogenics will decrease enteric methane.
Technology Details
The product has been developed after series of in vitro and in vivo testing for reduction in enteric methane in ruminants. It has been observed to decrease methane by 30.37% during in vitro study and 14.9% in growing buffaloes.
