VT 95 (VL Cherry Tomato 1) Notified & released in for Zone I (J&K, UK, and HP), Zone III (Sikkim, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands) & Zone VII (MP, MH, GA). It is an open-pollinated variety that can be grown both under polyhouse and open-field conditions. Fruits are a small, attractive red colour with an oval shape; better in nutritive traits (Vitamin C-86mg/100g and T.S.S-7º Brix), good taste, and being table type, it can fetch high price to the growers. In hills, it yields 250-300 q/ha under open-field conditions and 400-500 q/ha under polyhouse conditions.
