DGG-1 is perennial, high quality green fodder yield and seed production potential with synchronous maturity. The variety has a potential green fodder yield (1054.0 q/ha) and dry matter yield (221.3 q/ha). It has tolerance to salinity and also suitable to be grown in Orchards and Plantations.
