Multiplex PCR-based GMO screening simultaneously targeting Bt cry genes (cry1Ab/Ac and cry2Ab2)

Technology Details
Multiplex PCR simultaneously targeting Bt cry genes (cry1Ab/Ac and cry2Ab2) detects Bt events with cry1Ac, cry2Ab2 and cry1Ab genes. The technology detects the specific targets with limit of detection (LOD) up to 0.05%, and allows detection of approved Bt cotton events in the country as well as non-approved Bt events with cry1Ab gene. This allows the detection of target cry genes by simultaneous amplification of respective PCR products of cry1Ab/Ac and cry2Ab2 genes.
