Beauveria bassiana NBAIR-Bb5a � A potential biopesticide for management of chewing and sucking pests of cabbage

Beauveria bassiana NBAIR-Bb5a strain is a promising biocontrol agent for the management of chewing and sucking insects in cabbage. Foliar application of NBAIR-Bb5a strain resulted in 60-85% reduction in the damage caused by diamond backmoth, Plutella xylostella and cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae with 30-35% increase in the yield of cabbage.
