Technology description
- TilhanTec SUNH-2 (IIOSH-460) recorded higher seed yield (1570 kg/ha) under rainfed conditions than national checks DRSH-1 (1284 kg/ha) and KBSH-44 (1447 kg/ha), which is 22.27% and 8.50% higher over DRSH-1 and KBSH-44, respectively.
- TilhanTec SUNH-2 (IIOSH-460) has recorded higher oil yield (606 kg/ha) against the national check hybrids DRSH-1 (480 kg/ha) and KBSH-44 (475 kg/ha). The oil yield advantage of the proposed hybrid, TilhanTec SUNH-2 (IIOSH-460) over the national hybrid checks KBSH-44 and DRSH-1 was 57% and 26.25%, respectively.
- Downy mildew disease reaction in sick plot (artificial epiphytotic condition), the hybrid TilhanTec SUNH-2 (IIOSH-460) recorded highly resistance reaction (0%) as against susceptible reaction recorded by check hybrids KBSH-44 (51.7%) and DRSH-1 (67.5%), respectively.
- It is also moderately resistant to leafhoppers.
