The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and Agrinnovate India Limited under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), has been serving the nation for nearly a century through its contributions to agricultural research, education, innovation, and extension. ICAR is increasingly focused on fostering inclusive and sustainable rural development, while contributing significantly to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Life on Land (SDG 15), etc. In this context, ICAR is planning to attract and mobilize funds from various CPSEs, industry partners and philanthropic agencies to contribute to strengthening critical sectors within ICAR’s purview. These areas include climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable agri-food systems, livelihood enhancement, women and youth empowerment, agricultural startups and incubation, digital agriculture, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, value addition, farm mechanization, one health and other relevant areas. Considering the growing need to scale up such interventions and create a structured platform for collaboration between ICAR and CSR stakeholders, ICAR is organizing the "ICAR CSR Conclave 2026" on 15 July 2026 in NASC Complex, New Delhi, under the theme: ‘Partnering for Agricultural Transformation: Mobilizing CSR for a Sustainable Agri-Future’.

The Conclave will specifically deliberate on the following thematic areas:
1. Climate Proofing of Indian Agriculture
2. Soil Health Improvement through Nature-Based Solutions and Diversification of Crops
3. Agriculture for Health
4. Agriculture Skilling
5. Women in Agriculture and Extension
