HIL (India) Limited Signs Technology Transfer Agreement with Agrinnovate India Ltd. for Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP Technology

New Delhi, February 04, 2026:
HIL (India) Limited has signed a Technology Transfer Agreement with Agrinnovate India Limited for the commercialization of Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP technology developed by ICAR–Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR).

The agreement was formally executed on 04 February 2026, marking another significant milestone in promoting eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural solutions in the country.

Trichoderma viride 1.5% WP is a bio-control agent widely used for the management of soil-borne plant pathogens. The technology offers an environmentally safe and sustainable alternative to chemical fungicides, contributing to improved soil health and enhanced crop productivity.

Through this partnership, HIL (India) Limited will undertake the production and marketing of the technology, ensuring its wider reach to farmers across India. Agrinnovate India Ltd., the commercial arm of DARE/ICAR, continues to facilitate the transfer of innovative agricultural technologies to industry partners for large-scale dissemination.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of ICAR, Agrinnovate India Ltd., and HIL (India) Limited toward strengthening sustainable agriculture and supporting farmers with advanced biological solutions.
